“To pull off a great event, you need a great team and to build a great team, you need selfless and energetic people who can work day and night to get things done”
Durgesh Dhoot (aka DD) was one of the core team members for JDF17. And there’s no doubt in us saying that the event would have not turned out to be a success that it was, if it were not for Durgesh’s herculean efforts.
Durgesh has since moved out of Jaipur starting off on a new professional adventure, and as we ramp up for JDF18, it’s most appropriate that we remember his contributions to the JDF17 core team and the good times spent with him last year!
Durgesh was involved in literally all aspects of JDF17 – he’s a creative genius so it was a no-brainer that he owned all digital and print aspects of the event. The best part about working with someone like Durgesh is that he’s a go-getter – he looks to get things done and that too quickly!
While he’s a man of few words, his suggestions and inputs are always spot on and the JDF17 core team shall always be indebted to him for guiding us in the right direction.
Each of us had the good fortune of working with him closely to ensure every aspect of JDF17 went as per plan. Whether it was things happening back stage or taking the stage to ensure everything worked correctly, Durgesh wasn’t shy of taking on any duties – a must-have quality to succeed when the time pressure starts telling and you have your backs against the wall.
Murphy’s law states that your professional and personal commitments will always conflict 🙂 – in case of Durgesh, he was due to get married shortly after JDF17. How he juggled the pressure of wedding shopping, planning, pre-wedding romance and courtship period are all questions only the great man can answer himself!
Durgesh moved out of Jaipur last year to start off on a new professional adventure, therefore making it difficult for him to be a part of the JDF18 core team this year. And as we continue our journey towards the JDF18 grand finale, we miss him and his creativity at every step!
Durgesh – we thank you for everything that you did for JDF and wish you all the best for your personal and professional life!
P.S – We hope to have you at JDF18 as a speaker 🙂
